Barn Quilt
Senior Center barn quilt designed by Tawney Hadler. Tawney will be making a quilt for the Dwight Foster Public Library soon.
In parntership with the city and the General’s Baseball team, we painted their mascot on the water reservoir/stage at Jones Park.
Generals Mural
Replacing over 400 ash trees decimated by the Emerald Ash Borer. City Foresters selected terrace trees based on growth size, types of trees, and location to avoid powerlines, and water works. Collaborated with the city, school district, and Community Foundation to make this happen on a yearly basis.
Fort Tree Fund
On the city’s water department building, the mural showcases Fort Atkinson’s early history. Larry Schultz, a local artist, painted our some of Fort’s most iconic places and people.

Future Projects and Ideas
Cow Parade: Hoping to accentuate showcase our dairy history and have the seven breeds of dairy cows strategically placed throughout our downtown.
Park Enhancement: Beautify our garbage and recycling cans with local art.
Bike Racks: Unique bike racks at local venues. Shaped as books, fish, baseball gloves, etc.
Landscaping: Hope to beautify the Riverwalk for all to enjoy.
2023 Tree Planting
Trees were planted along Endl Boulevard in Fort Atkinson on Friday April 26 coordinated by the Fort Atkinson Beautification Council with participation by the Wisconservation Club of Fort Atkinson and the Fort Atkinson Department of Public Works. This past year, the project received major financial support from Don Williams.
The Beautification Council is a non-profit 501c3 organization. Its Fort Tree Fund has been supported for the past six years by the Fort Atkinson Community Foundation. It has been responsible for planting trees in areas of the city each spring for several years, over 430+trees.
